學校簡介

於1967年成立的 Georgian College 與多數學院相同，均是由政府出資，於1967年成立。喬治亞學院不僅是理工學院聯盟的院校之一，同時也是加拿大語言機構的成員。為加拿大安大略省政府所認證，同時也是台灣教育部承認的公立學院。

Georgian和其他許多的大學均有合作和轉學分的協議讓其學生在結束College的課程之後能夠有機會繼續在大學進修，獲取本科學位。學生也可以選擇在Georgian College完成Georgian與多所大學共同開辦的聯合學位課程—如約克大學、勞倫森大學

是加拿大目前第三大擁有建教實習課程的學院(Co-op Program)，結合實用的專業知識也因此讓Georgian College畢業生有能力達成高達93%的畢業即就業率。

特色科系一. 汽車管理學系 –

本校的汽車管理學系，亦可說是加拿大汽車商學院，Georgian提供的這項課程遠近馳名，該學系是培育加拿大、甚至是全北美及眾多國際汽車產業的人才搖籃，每年的九月都會舉辦戶外汽車展，為北美最大型的汽車展。展場相關布置一切由學生一手操辦、策劃組織，吸引眾多汽車零售商和廠商前去參展，是學生與優秀的業界人士接觸認識，表現自我的最佳機會。
